Road sign (40 mph) painted over and much lower obscured sign covered by trees in its place. Warning needed that traffic lights are forthcoming as vehicles screeching to a holt not realising lights coming up. Just after new junction two lanes go into one with no warning, and this has been close to causing several accidents as vehicles try to overtake to avoid being stuck behind lorries.
