Footpath obstructed and in poor state of repair

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2134629.

The builder seems to have taken it upon themselves to divert this footpath around their site without approval for the diversion. Footpath in terrible state. Builder has also been putting gates across footpath entrance to Upton lane obstructing the footpath (where there are steps over the wall). Builder abusive to walkers.

  • Thank you for contacting the County Council regarding this issue. We have forwarded your comments on to the developer and the appropriate teams in the Council requesting the developer confirm whether a pernament closure is requiredb and to contact to the relevant teams to arrange this. In the meantime we have requested that the right of way is opened up until the closure is confirmed as required.
