Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately Northamptonshire County Council no longer consider installing ‘No Parking’ type signs or such measures at wooden posts, bollards or barriers to prevent parking on grass verges to be a priority. If vehicles are being driven on footways the this road safety concern would be a matter for Northamptonshire Police, as they would have the ability to decide on taking appropriate action against drivers that may be breaking traffic laws within this residential area. Northamptonshire Police can consider operating traffic surveys or mobile enforcement. Such requests can be done via your local Safer Communities Team by calling the non-emergency telephone number 101 or by the following link on the Northants Police website.
