Overgrown vegetation causing pedestrians to walk in road
Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 15:42, Fri 5 June 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2143699.
When will the hedge rows along both sides of Fernmoor drive to Finedon road be cut. At the moment it is impossible to social distance due to the length overgrowing hedges/brambles over the pavement forcing pedestrians to walk in the road with oncoming traffic, at night it is poorly lit & thorns are at eye height which could lead to facial/eye damage.

I agree the hedges down both sides of Fernmoor Road in Irthlingborough are so overgrown its impossible for a parent to walk with their children to town or school together unless they walk in the road which obviously is very dangerous.
