Road subsidence/ sinking

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2145331.

This ongoing problem has been reported for several years. There is sinking along Johns Rd from around Butts Hill crescent to just before Levitts rd. The condition is deteriorating each year. It follows the course of the main sewer which runs along the centre of the road. This is the major access to the majority of the village and crucial for emergency access.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. A works order has been raised to repair potholes and will be completed within 6 months. However this road has been identified for a potential resurfacing scheme if funding becomes available.
