Reported in the Blocked Ditch Causing Flooding category anonymously at 10:21, Mon 8 June 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2146443.
There is a blocked drain outside property Bibury Cottage, Badby Road, Newham that has caused flooding of residents garden as drain became filled with water and overflowed into residents garden as a result. Has not yet caused flooding of the property but with any more serious rain this will happen as the drain is located on the street outside the property and the property is below street level.

A tanker truck arrived at 9pm earlier this week. The guys pointed out the blocked drains were not on the highways map system and they were not authorised to clear them. They made a cursory clearance of the drain but did not follow through on the work required along the length of the drains as requested as they did not have the correct equipment. This is a priority 1 request and with more rain forecast I want to raise this as a concern as we are nearly a month since the initial incident.

Sunday 26th July 2020. When will the drains be cleared outside this property? Although they are not on your map they are there and need attention! There is a grass verge between the highway and the pavement and these drains/gulley's run between the pavement and the grass verge. Please attend to this as soon as you can.
