The main drain near has apparently collasped
Reported in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 14:11, Mon 8 June 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2147058.
This drain can not take it when we have a rain storm, this has been reported numerous times over the last 18months, the curb is too low next to the drain and when it rains hard it causes all the dirt and water to straight onto the driveway of number 88 causing an awful mess plus flooding of their garage. When it was repaired before the repairers said that the main drain near to this had collapsed. PLEASE TREAT THIS AS URGENT BEFORE IT CAUSES MORE FLOODING IF WE HAVE ANOTHER DOWNPOUR MANY THANKS

When this was an issue last time it was also agreed that the access kerb be made slightly higher so vehicles can still cross it but also so that any volume of water is guided to another drain to divert the sudden influx of water when it rains. if you could also still consider this as part of your fix that would be fantastic.

Hi
Many thanks for arranging for the kerb stones to be made higher. i am sure this will help the issue. your efforts are much appreciated. Just the actual collapsed drain to be dealt with now. am just following this up to ensure that the actual reference number is not closed until both parts of the job are completed. thanks again.
