Grossly overgrown shrubs
Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 14:03, Tue 9 June 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2148524.
Very overgrown shrubs for weeks now alongside the footpath on the Kent Road . This is near to the St Crispin shopping Village. The footpath is very narrow for use hardly wide enough for pram users and us the elderly that use walking aids. Brambles, nettles and twiggy branches at eye level threaten us. To pass one another now one user has to step into the road. Please treat this enquiry as urgent. Thank you Gill.

As in my email 3/6/20 this long area is on the Kent Road, Upton opposite some houses of which 2 are numbered 21 and 23.
This area is almost adjacent to the St Crispin shopping village so the path is well used for shoppers and school children/mums with rollators, scooters, push chairs etc.

Hi this is still an issue and has been for some time now. This is the route to school for many school kids who are having to walk in the road which is very busy especially with parked cars on one side. Parents with prams/pushchairs are struggling to use this footpath.
