Blocked Drain

Blocked drain keeps filling up and over flooding, seems completely blocked, Headlands carpets owner has advised this has been reported many times but has the same problem every time its fixed, advised that all of the drains are blocked and need looking into

  • Thank you for your report. The drainage issue/gully has been logged and will be addressed as part of our cyclic cleansing programme.  Programmed for summer 2020. On occasion, this programme can change due to situations outside of our control.

  • This is a serious issue that still persists as it crosses the entrance to Headlands Carpets and Utile Engineering as well as the footpath. As soon as we get frosts and ice it will become a major hazard for pedestrians and cars alike. Also, because the water has constantly flowed since my original report in June, it has possibly caused damage to the road and pathway surface.
