Dropped Kerb Installed by contractor incorrectly and unusable due to severe incline between highway and property.
Reported in the Damaged/Loose category anonymously at 16:21, Thursday 11 June 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2151976.
Raybells contractors were instructed via dropped Kerb Licence to drop the Kerb and tarmac the verge at our property 12 Hermitage Road, Brampton Ssh, LE16 8PE. They commenced 11.10.17. We subsequently dug out the driveway and put hardcore only down to enable builders to access the property to undertake building works. We have recently finished building work and it is clear most vehicles are not able to access the property due to the severity of the incline left by Raybells. In addition to this the job they have done is appealing with an uneaten tarmac surface and poor edging not suitable for the highway. We would like someone from the highway to inspect the kerb and speak to Raybells to ensure that the property can be accessed by Is in ordinary vehicles. We spent a lot of money on this already to now realise it is only suitable for high set vehicles. Thanks Ben 07684354100
