Poor road edging causing water collection and dampness to property
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 10:30, Thu 18 June 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2161501.
It appears that this has been the situation for quite some time, however having recently moved to the property and aware of the dampness on internal walls it is clear that Issue is exacerbated by the constant collection of water at the side of the property.
The water collection appears to occur due to the road camber and the lack of kerb to direct the water along the road and into the drain which is positioned on the bend and can be seen in photo 2. This lack of kerb is seen on both sides of the property which face the road as can be seen by the photos.

I appreciate the update, however the work that has been done has made no difference, if anything it has made it worse as the water now collects even closer to the property.
Resurfacing of the road has clearly raised its level. And the water run off collects at the side as previously indicated. There is nothing in place to prevent this or direct the water I.e. a curb or something similar.
