Roadside trees/scrub restricting visibility to safely cross A428 on foot
Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category by James Deacon at 17:42, Monday 22 June 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2167785.
Trees, scrub and undergrowth have been allowed to grow unchecked for numerous years, to the extent they now grow right up to kerbside. This severely limits visibility for road users seeking to cross where Lodge Road intersects the A428. When standing at the North side of the A428, pedestrian visibility of eastbound traffic (approaching from Nptn, heading toward Brafield) is barely 100m. Visibility of of westbound traffic (approaching from Brafield, heading toward Nptn) is not much better than 200m.
