Deep Holes along bridleway

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2168868.

The surface of this bridleway is full of holes that fill with water and are dangerous for pedestrians and horses. Even vehicle access is difficult. The section under the M1 can be 3 feet deep in water. It needs inspecting and repairing to ensure it can be used safely.

  • Thanks for reporting this a site visit has been made and we intend to try and resolve the issue with flooding under the M1 within the next 4 weeks, we this has been on going but we have been unable to find the problem at present. There is no water leaks so Anglian Water report. With regard to the surface of the bridleway only landowners and network rail have access and vans and 4x4s can access, i have driven this is a van and is accessible. Network rail have promised to carry out some surface improvements in the future.
