Blocked Drain causing flooding

Reported in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 23:06, Thursday 25 June 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2173005.

Drain is not located on map. It is opposite my property and takes the rainwater from most of East Street/Grange Road/fields. It is completely blocked with silt and during the last storm flooded the road and being downhill from the road my property to the level of the air bricks, a stream several inches deep down the side of the house into the back garden. It was raining too heavily to take photos during the storm. Please clear urgently.

  • This is NOT a blocked gully. The drain itself it totally blocked solid with mud and debris. A road sweeper will not solve the issue the drain needs clearing as I stated in my phone call.
