Gutter weeds in the road outside my bungalow, Number 18 Manor Road, Stanion, NN14 1DL. I have cleared them myself twice. The first time I received a cut to my finger from broken pieces of glass amongst the weeds there. Mary McMaster (Mrs).

Yesterday evening, Tuesday, 18 August, at about 7.45 pm, I decided to try and clear the gutter weeds myself. I should not have had to do this, but they looked a disgrace compared with both of my neighbours' gutters. Hence I cleared what I could and put them in my bin for collection this morning, Wednesday. Luckily I didn't catch my fingers against bits of broken glass this time. The weeds still need to be done professionally though, by yourselves. I am the only resident in this road who has a real problem like this, so I feel I am being singled out. Mary McMaster.

The weeds didn't LEAN onto roadway. They WERE on the roadway, along a ridge in the GUTTER! No-one had attended to them again by last Tuesday evening, so I once AGAIN removed them and put them into my green bin for collection last Wednesday. If I get glass in my fingers once more there will be a report about these weeds. I feel I am being victimised, as this is a long-standing problem. There is also a furrow in the tarmac along my roadside pathway near my garden, about which I reported months ago, but at that time it was not considered sufficiently important to warrant attention by yourselves. If anyone wearing high heels gets caught in this it could also have dire consequences. Mary McMaster.
