Large Sycamore tree on the County Council Highway verge at the front of Stable Cottage, Main Street Pilton

Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 10:00, Monday 29 June 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2177112.

I tried to send this through earlier on street doctor, but I haven't received a confirmation e-mail. So I'll try again.

On 24/06/2020 I sent an e-mail to Sue taylor about this issue, e-mail copied below which explains everything:

Good afternoon Sue,

I hope you are well. I did have a general enquiry about the management of trees in the Towns and Villages of east Northants District, but I also have a specific enquiry for you.

Ian Smith pointed me in your direction. Can you please help with an enquiry from the Parish Council for Pilton, Stoke Doyle and Wadenhoe. They have concerns about the large Sycamore tree on the County Council Highway verge at the front of Stable Cottage, Main Street Pilton.

I’ve copied their e-mail to me below for your information, and cc’d Carew (Carrie), the Parish Councillor who originally e-mailed me. Can you please keep me informed of progress as the tree is protected by a tree preservation order. I have inspected the tree myself and am happy to chat about it with you.

I’m happy to make an enquiry on street doctor if that’s the best way to get this into your list of inspections.

Thanks

Brian
