Light turned from green back to red before I'd even cycled halfway

Reported in the Request Timing Review category by Gareth Alun John Williams at 22:29, Monday 29 June 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2178623.

Heading west towards Isham on my bicycle at 8.25pm on Sunday, I was extremely alarmed to see the green light near Weetabix had changed back to red before I had even got up the slight hill (and I'm not slow), so any car coming in the opposite direction probably would not have seen with me - with potentially disastrous consequences.

Therefore, the timing of the lights should be increased, although I believe a better solution could be to make it contraflow for cycles as I believe there is enough room for cycles to pass by cars and vans. (I believe lorries still cannot use that bridge despite the work carried out on it over the past year or so.)
