Edge of highway drops approx 4 inches onto unmade gravelled / loose channel
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 15:34, Thu 2 July 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2182982.
I understand that the condition of the edge of the road has been reported by the Parish Council who have been concerned about its dangerous condition and that it was an accident waiting to happen. I had that accident on Friday 8th May. My bike went into the gully and i was thrown onto the road, knocked unconscious and was taken to hospital where i had to have surgery for a broken cheekbone with 5 weeks off work . The unmade section of road runs the length of the houses which are on the opposite side of the road ( address is Litchborough Road in Farthingstone)
