Missing cul-de-sac and traffic joining signs
Reported in the Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way category anonymously at 23:26, Saturday 4 July 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2186010.
Thorpeville is a cul-de-sac and with the recent A43 dualling, there is no signage to indicate that the turning in to Thorpeville is a dead-end. Also, since the A43 dualling, traffic leaving Thorpeville are now usually obligated to wait for an extended time, awaiting a gap in the traffic from the Spinney roundabout. It would help to have a sign encouraging traffic leaving the Spinney roundabout to make allowances for the joining traffic.

During the schemes development from the very early stages of concept design through to almost having completed construction stage, consideration has been given to the comments received from the public and residents and in many instances such as this, changes have been made to the design to address their concerns.
