Lighrs fail to detect cycles

Reported in the Signal Stuck category anonymously at 15:35, Sunday 12 July 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2196720.

Travelling North on Cotton End, turning right into New South Bridge Road. I made an extra effort to ride over the detection loops but the lights went through two full cycles without offering a tight turn filter until a motor vehicle came up behind. I have reported this 5 or 6 times previously and although I've had responses saying it's been fixed, I have never had the lights respond to me. It's almost as though cycling isn't considered a valid mode of using roads
