This is urgent there is a risk to life!
Please note Weston Mill Lane is used by the locals to access riverside retail park. The road and cut through is extremely dangerous aa car could have an accident on the bridge and end up on the A45 below no barriers on the bridge.
The cut through and road Markings and signs Extremely poor difficult to see oncoming traffic either way. Bushes overgrown Even if you have priority you cannot see oncoming traffic either way you literally have to guess when to go.
Pedestrians With Prams, and bikes And elderly are at risk of injury.
Please address these issues as a matter of urgency it’s only a matter of time before a tragic accident occurs!
Speed is also an issue
The cut through is great for locals but you must ensure either a traffic light system or greater safety it is not acceptable to turn a blind eye and ignore this issue.
I also wish to make a complaint regarding the increased noise levels on the A45 Barnes Meadow towards Wellingborough.
The noise level needs to be investigated urgently as well as the speed level
You will need to either reduce the speed level or erect noise barriers.
The column of traffic has increased substantially over the past 20 years and it is now affecting our quality of life.
Please investigate at rush hours and other times of the day the noise levels and speed limits as a matter of urgency and look at options to improve quality of life for residents with close proximity to A45.
I have in the past contacted you about the cycle paths around brackmills where the cycle paths end randomly Without easy access across busy dual carriageways and in particular At the end of Rushmere Road cycle path towards Bedford road near the lake road and Bedford walking away from Barclays Bank you literally take your life in your hands trying to cross dual carriageways at the end of cycle paths!!!! I can discuss the exact locations with you.
I look forward to your response ASAP.
