Badly damaged footpath

Reported in the Pothole / Failed Reinstatement category anonymously at 06:52, Friday 17 July 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2204158.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing on behalf of Windmill Avenue residents and other people, who takes their kids to Compass Academy. One of the main footpaths is in terrible state, tiny bit opposite our house, photos attached. Its getting even more dangerous durinng cold months. Last winter I saw at least 4 people tripping over these "hills" and one old lady couldn't walk after falling here and had to ring her son to pick her up. Perhaps you aware of this incident and she's been in touch, because she promised to take some actions. We had someone from council here few years ago and woman took photos of the footpath and promised that it will be considered on next meeting, however nothing happened since and people still falling and injuring themselves. Foot traffic is huge here, because its the main walkway to the underground tunnel leading to school. We asking you to inspect and act on this ASAP, before another , more serious accident happens. Warm regards People of Kettering
