Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2210105.

There are kinks in the cycle paths, usually or side of an underpass eg A5123 next to In and Out. I was knocked off my bike on Sunday by speeding cyclist on wrong side. I had stopped when he barrelled into me bending my wheel beyond use and injuring me. If there were no railings I would have been in the canal/river. There were children on bikes and walking. It could have been carnage. Please can we have advisory signs. Particularly at blind pinch points. Thanks

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately we are currently out of stock of our temporary cycling courtesy signs that advise riders to ‘Ring Your Bell, Pass Slowly and Say Thanks’ but will endeavour to put some up at this location when available. However, signs will do little for those cyclists who behave recklessly and fail to observe other cycle lane users.
