Footpath impassable due to overgrown shrubbery and trees.

Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 15:59, Monday 27 July 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2218873.

The path is impassable due to shrubbery which means you have to walk in the road to turn the corner...... but there are usually cars parked up to the junction. Very dangerous. This is a constant issue made worse in the summer due to the growth of the plants. These are not in a garden they are bordering the gas works.

  • On 8th October you advised that the footpath would shortly be cleared, it is now the end of November and this still hasn’t been sorted. With the cars parked right up to the corner you have to squash past the shrubs which have no leaves on any longer, these branches are protruding dangerously at eye level and it is only a matter of time before someone is injured.
