Privit hedge not being cut back

The Islamic mosque community centre On Silverdale Road has hedge all the way around. Hedge has not been cut back all year and is now blocking most of the footpath.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. A letter will be sent to the relevant landowner requesting that the overhanging vegetation is cut back. A revisit will be carried out 14 days after the receipt of the letter.

  • The hedge has still not been cut back. It has been left to grow all year with no maintenance. The community centre is having a new extension built presently so is not in use but now schools have started back this overgrown hedge is more of a nuisance to parents with children using the narrow footpath.
