Overgrown trees problem

Further to report 2203366 - resident is not looking to make a claim, but is not seeking to make a claim, but instead get the trees loped or removed to avoid any future damage. Details of original report were:- The boundary wall of my property, which is only 1/2 m away from the trees, has started to lean. Cracks have appeared in my garage wall. A structural engineer has looked at these and said that the trees are causing the problem.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Unable to remove highway trees unless there is evidence of decay/disease, structural damage, or risk to highway users. However, we have requested a tree report to be undertaken to ascertain condition of these trees. We will then be able to make an informed decision. Update will be provided once report has been completed .

  • Please can you call customer before attending for the tree report, as he will need to show the person attending the back of his garage in this regard.
