Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2225049.

Roads works in Walgrave, road closed at bottom of Hannington road, and traffic being diverted up Rectory Lane, This is causing a very dangerous situation, as traffic coming up the very narrow lane extremely fast and there is a blind corner at the top. Plus the lane has no footpath for people or children to walk on and there have been several nearer misses over the past couple of days, with large vans and lorries. Very concerned there will be an accident. could you please advise us of what could be done in this matter.

We are once again having diverted traffic up Rectory Lane Walgrave. This was reported to you earlier when we had the problem. This time the traffic being diverted is not only cars but BUSES. It do really think this is a dangerous situation. The speed of these vehicles is terrible. Shortly the traffic would be better diverted up through Hannington and up the Main Road. Rectory Lane has a sign not suitable for heavy goods vehicles !!! Please could you look into this before there is a major incident on the blind corner.
