Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Laurie Ridler at 09:07, Sat 1 August 2020

Your answer suggests that, because of the times we live in, speeding and / or careless driving is now being officially treated as acceptable in built up areas where a lot of people walk, especially parents with young children. If so surely your attitude can only be described as flippant and shameful. We are not talking about emptier main highways where higher speeds could be understood. These are side streets where people actually live.
Thank you for reporting a fault. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.

Many of the reports we receive are about residential roads, hence the relevant advisory boards are already deployed with more on order. I am sorry we do not have suitable boards available immediately due to the increased reports previously mentioned (by way of explanation for the delay. Ultimately drivers are responsible for the speed they choose on any given stretch of road.
