Half of footpath blocked by hedge

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2231151.

The hedge outside 50 Aintree Road has been growing unchecked for months and now blocks at least half the width of the footpath.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. A letter will be sent to the relevant homeowner requesting that the vegetation is cut back. A revisit will be carried out 14 days after the receipt of the letter.

  • The hedge has been trimmed i.e. neatened but has not been cut back in general and still obstructs half the width of the pavement at its widest (uphill) point.

  • 08/10/2020 A further letter has been sent to cut back the vegetation fully and a further site visit will be carried out week commencing 26/10/2020
