Overgrown verge can not see on coming traffic when exiting driveway

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2232446.

The verge was trimmed back but it was grown back and now needs cutting back again before there is an accident

    The overgrown verge is causing serious safety issue when exiting the drive into traffic which is travelling at speed

  • I’m confused, on 6 August you commented that the verge was due its 2nd cut and now it’s 27 September and you still haven’t done it? I repeat this is dangerous, pulling out onto fast oncoming traffic, please cut it as a matter of urgency!

  • You said the 2 cut was due in August, you actually cut it in October? During Spring & Summer it will definitely need cutting once every 3 months as weeds grow a lot quicker! Can I suggest you schedule a little better going forward and maybe police the speed people travel along that section of the road?

  • Thank you for your enquiry the verges are mowed under a scheduled mowing programme and the 2nd cut is now due. The verge has now been recut, I will pass the suggestion onto our mowing team
