Bus Lane markings prevent safe turning left into Glasgow street from Weedon Road
Reported in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 10:57, Thursday 6 August 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2233070.
Due to the solid line all the way up to the point of turn for Glasgow street motorists are forced to either contravene the bus lane restrictions or remain in the right hand lane and wait to turn left holding up any traffic from behind. Broken white lines on approach to the junction would remedy this situation. Please let me know if drivers who enter the bus lane in order to turn left into the junction to Glasgow street should expect to receive fines etc.
