Footpath access restricted by overgrown/hanging vegatation

Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 13:53, Thursday 6 August 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2233410.

In this location the footpath is separated from the road by a hedge line. The hedge is overgrowing the path and restricts access, some of the hedge is hawthorn, so painful to brush past.

Footpath used by several elderly residents.

It was cut back last year, but if it were to be severely cut back this year it would probably then not need doing again for another couple of years.

Thanks very much.
