Cycleway blocked by awning of fruit/veg shop

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2244140.

Since the fruit & veg shop has opened they have been taking more and more of the cycle way. Last Sat. there was an awning, their display and other boxes blocking the path and so I had to cycle on the road.

  • Inspection was made 27/08/20 - tables observed on highway were within acceptable limites, no other obstructions (boxes, etc...) were seen

  • The cycle way continues to be blocked 7 days a week by the tables and awnings placed outside the veg shop. goverment guidelines require a clear 3m route for combined pedestrain/cycleways, with these obstructions in place this not achieved. Can you please revisit this issue.

  • Inspection was made 13/01/21 - tables observed on highway appear to be within acceptable limits, no other obstructions (boxes, awning etc...) were seen
