A gang is being sent out on site to deal with the 2 edge defects near the bend / grit bin by patching. Those 2 isolated areas will subsequently be re-dressed. The action of surface dressing has provided texture and also sealed the underlying carriageway structure from water ingress. There is no loss of aggregate, and the action of traffic will help with its embedment.
