Vegetation growing across footpath
Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 07:59, Wed 19 August 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2252750.
These hedges grow very fast and need regular maintenance. The bushes are now forming an arch over the footpath, so anyone over 5 ft in height has to duck to get through. As schools reopened this is a popular walkway and it’s going to cause problems especially trying to socially distance from passers by. It’s dangerous as the branches are eye height for most. Problem has been getting worse for 5 months.
