I have severe damp to my property caused by drains damage
Reported in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 10:12, Wed 19 August 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2253076.
For over 18 months I have had severe damp issues to my property at 111 st james road. My insurance assessors have been out and also anglian water. There are issues with regular blocking of the three drains outside the property and also possible damage. I have re-plastered 3 times and now had a damp course and I will be seeking compensation from the council as I have no water anywhere near this area in my property and no property damage which would cause this damp issue.

I see that you have said the drains will be cleaned by tomorrow? Someone called me yesterday about damp in my cellar, I do not have a cellar and I pointed this out. Could you read my original complaint please? I have significant damp to internal walls of my commercial premises. The drain gulley out side these premises must have a crack in them or some damage. Cleaning them is not the answer, finding the root cause of the problem is required. Originally you were going to do a dye test which you have not done, are you doing this after you have cleaned them or it is a waste of time and I will still have the damp?
