You've identified the pothole outside my drive at 41 Bridge Road as one needing repair. Its needed this repair for 3 years. You identified this the same time as you did the one by the church that was not as bad. Why was the church one filled earlier this year but not the one that is deep and in a stretch of road that is in an appalling condition. A busy road that has been in this condition for many years, long before financial constraints. Why isn't the road on any planned maintenance list? Following a mini traffic survey by me on the 10th August from 2.50pm to 3.20pm, 75 vehicles passed by at speed. That was 30 from Main street to bridge and 45 from bridge to main street. The caravan park traffic is immense and increasing with further plans to expand. The traffic noise is bad enough without the added bang from flat bed trucks and empty lorries clattering down. You are also aware the road markings are non existent and mist signage in this village faded. With a negative impact on this village caused by MKC planners not considering anyone who lives in the village when agreeing expansion at the park without any ' goodwill' clauses because if whatever planning regulation they choose to use, we suffer. Has anyone actually considered the extra noise we suffer due to this appalling road surface? The cottages in this part of the village are 3' from the road. To end....please explain why this pothole was not done along with the church one and why there are no plans to resurface Bridge Road. I've lived here 20 years so I know how long the road has been in this condition, long long before financial constraint excuses. 26 weeks! It needed repairing years ago. It needs repairing now! It
