25.08.20. Fallen Tree Holyrood Road, NN5 7AH. The tree fell across our drive damaging the garden. It took half our Magnolia tree with it and knocked backwards, Yucca plants. It has broken a Daphne shrub in two, and damaged a large Hydrangea plant and generally flattened the front garden. We are 78 and 79, both disabled. We cannot put the garden back to how it was previously and would like to know what the council are going to do about the damage your tree caused. Our house is up for sale, the falling tree also smashed the Agents For Sale sign, having the garden in a mess is not helping the appearance of the house. Our number is 01604 755502 could someone phone me with regard to this damage. I have pictures but do not know how to add them to this message. David Rudd

It is now the 19th of December. We have heard nothing from the Council. No one has looked at our wrecked garden caused by your falling tree. In the meantime it has got overgrown and in a worse mess. I expected some contact if only to check if two people, who have both had heart surgery, aged 78 and 79 have recovered from the shock of being trapped in our home by a 45 foot tree that was your responsibility. Do we have to engage Solicitors and sue the Council with all the publicity we can arrange ? We expected to at least receive enough compensation to have someone fix the garden. Please do not keep ignoring us. D. Rudd, 19 Holyrood Rd. NN5 7AH
