Dangerous looking trees
Reported in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 13:32, Thu 27 August 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2266358.
Good afternoon, I wanted to report the tree's outside my address and my neighbours address, 31 & 33 Harmans Way, Weedon, NN7 4PB - I am growing concerned that the trees need felling and/or looking at ASAP, as many branches are starting to come down, especially after the high winds we had Tuesday evening. One extremely large branch came down onto the public path, which could of killed someone. This has since been removed, but the smaller branches remain, so whether someone has taken it for firewood, which isn't an issue. My issue is that I believe the trees are starting to look very unsafe, especially the one nearest our drive which was swaying a lot more than usual Tuesday PM and was very slightly moving the ground below the trunk. If this one comes down, it will most certainly fall across the main road and through the house opposite.
It maybe totally fine, and not going anywhere, however I would like someone to come out and check to be on the safe-side, especially before we have more bad weather.
Kind Regards,
Libby Parratt (33 Harmans Way, Weedon, NN7 4PB)
