Bus lane causing problems turning left
Reported in the Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way category anonymously at 11:25, Wed 2 September 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2274325.
Taxis are using the bus lane in St James - assume this is ok? However, what happens to cars using the right hand lane (to avoid the bus lane) that then want to turn left? I had a case where a taxi overtook me, at speed, on the inside as I was turning left into Marlborough Road causing us both to take evasive action. Who is in the wrong here? The taxi driver is aggressively accusing me of being in the wrong? Need signage?
