No road markings on Weedon Road to allow safe entry to / exit from Rosebery Avenue

Reported in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 21:31, Wed 2 September 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2275827.

Now the bus lane is 24 hours on Weedon Road I recommend adding road painting markings, specifically (1) an indication arrow which filters into the bus lane allowing cars to safely turn left onto Rosebery Avenue, this will decrease disruption to traffic flow and give resident drivers reassurance that they will not be fined for encroaching on a bus lane to enter their street. (2) a box junction allowing safe exit from Rosebery Avenue onto Weedon Road and vice versa particularly when crossing lanes during congestion. I also want to highlight that although there are white diagonal stripes to separate lanes on Weedon Road and protect traffic turning right to enter Rosebery Avenue, many drivers use this incorrectly to access the Beacon Bingo car park opposite, dismissing a no entry sign which is not fully visible instead of driving further to use the correct access point. This is particularly hazardous when cars are head to head, one trying to turn onto Rosebery Avenue and the other going the wrong way into Beacon Bingo, perhaps better signage and markings are needed here too.
