I sent this message to Stagecoach: The Bus Stop opposite 87 The Ridge, Great Doddington, NN29 7TT (Stop ID: nthagmwp) has been knocked over. This stop is used daily by an unsteady elderly gentleman and as often as not, at the moment, because drivers cannot see the sign and the hard standing in time, he has to disembark onto a low slippery grass bank just past the stop. As autumn progresses this will become increasingly difficult and dangerous for him and other passengers. Could you please be kind enough to prioritise the re-instatement of this stop? Richard Butcher They replied I will pass this to our marketing team, if there is a post at the position whereby we can attach a stop we will send someone out to replace the sign, unfortunately the post itself is maintained by the local authority and they would need to re-instate the post first.
