Resurface
Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 18:27, Wed 9 September 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2286927.
Attached photos of the resurface work at Rectory Farm Road and Great Billing Way. I find it hard to believe that the road has been left in this state and even harder to believe that your road marking team have carried out work. Great billing way will be more dangerous in wet or icy conditions than if it was left as before. Only half the road has been done anyway. What a waste of our council tax money. Why is it not to the quality of Rectory Farm Road?

Good Afternoon, thank you for your inquiry regarding the surface dressing works that were recently carried out on Great Billing Way. We experienced some issues with the installation of the dressing on site due to a bout of heavy rain which came soon after works were completed. However, the site has now been assessed and will be monitored for the foreseeable future to monitor any changes and to ensure that the carriageway meets the required specifications.
