Just to keep you updated, 3 vans of workmen arrived in 23rd Dec and cut off approx 12 to 15 small branches and then left after approx 20 mins. As you can see from the attached photo, there are still a large number of branches overhanging our driveway, some of which look dead and are likely to fall off.
I am not sure what their instructions were, but it was not the resolution we were expecting. We would appreciate it if this can be resolved before the leaves grow back on the tree and drop further sap and debris onto our driveway and cars.

Any update on the lack of work on the overhanging tree ? It has now been over 12 months since it was first reported and well over 6 months since your work order was apparently raised yet still no work to trim back the branches. Once again the sap is all over our cars.

Thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately, Northamptonshire Highways only undertake works to trees and vegetation that is posing a safety hazard to highways users and do not undertake works to prevent leaf fall/bird mess/sap, provide natural light or TV signal. Home owners are permitted to cut back any vegetation overhanging the boundary of their property. Works undertaken for highway safety reasons have been completed at this location.
