  • You have to walk in the road as the hedges trees etc are overhanging the footpath making it impossible to walk along. This is not safe. The road is very narrow and large vehicles use it so something needs doing to the verges. They are usually trimmed but haven't been done this year.

  • The grips that were dug out have all over grown again please can they be dug out again and if possible concreted then the flooding problem wouldn’t keep happening. Also the drains need clearing again. I have also included a couple of pictures regarding the very large willow tree which has been trimmed back a couple of time , I first requested that the whole tree was taken down I don’t like to see it happen but as you will see it’s way to big for the area and contributed to the mess and flooding. • Although the hedges along the verge have been trimmed back as well as part of the footpath the path leading from the cottages to the bridge is still overgrown and dangerous, Complaints were also made at the time the verges were cleared regarding vehicles being covered in bits from the shredder. The complaint was being investigated and a telephone call was to be made regarding the situation. To date nothing further has occurred.

  • Although some of the path has been cleared you still cannot use the footpath which forces people into walking in the road.

  • The footpath has now disappeared completely due to grass growing over it. The grass is growing as people cannot use the path due to overhanging bushes etc. Please get this fixed before there is an accident.

  • Many apologies, this report should have been closed down after work for the original requests were completed. It is best for subsequent requests to be made on a new report so they go to the appropriate colleague, also different categories of report are best made separately (eg flooding and vegetation) as these are often dealt with by different teams. I will make colleagues aware of these ongoing reports, and we will monitor the situation through our ongoing routine inspection programme, but please submit a new report if any of the above concerns remain. Apologies again for any confusion caused because the report was not closed when it should have been.
