Narrow muddy path which should have been widened when the housing estate was built
Reported in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 12:54, Mon 14 September 2020
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2293750.
This is the only access footpath along Main Road from the new DWH housing estate to the bus stop. I am surprised that the original plans by DWH which showed a new footpath alongside the water basin have not been insisted upon or implemented, particularly as they are paying for the X44 bus service to Brackmills which no one can access from the estate. This path is muddy and impassable when wet, especially with a pushchair. It is also dangerous as it means stepping into a busy main road if pedestrians are coming in the opposite direction. The path needs to be tarmacked and widened. The issue has been present for 2 plus years.
