Big bush overgrown restricting footpath

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2300273.

Bush is severely overgrown and there is no space to walk on the footpath, so pedestrians, including children, have to walk in the road to get past. It could be dangerous. Its right on the corner of the entrance to Avebury Way and has been like this for a good 6-9 months.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. A letter has been sent to the relevant homeowner requesting that the overhanging vegetation is cut back. A revisit will be carried out 14 days after the receipt of the letter.

  • 22/10 A further inspection has been carried out and the vegetation has not been cut back. Another letter has been sent and a further inspection will be carried out week commencing 09/11
