A repair on the edge of the Eastbound side of the road, performed some time ago has subsided, meaning that, if drivers cannot avoid hitting it (due to oncoming traffic) or due to their ignorance of it, or inability to see it in the dark, they risk damaging their wheels/suspension (or braking to avoid it, with the attendant risk of being rear-ended. It's opposite the access gate to Oddstones cottage, and encountered after navigating a left hand bend.

Thank you for your enquiry, site visited. defects do not currently meet NCC investigatory levels, will continue to monitor through highway safety inspections.
