The state of the pathways around West Hunsbury May be ok for a person walking but not for people using mobility scooters, wheel chairs or even child pushchairs and proms. They have been assessed as ok within tolerances,, however, the undue wear and tear on components on my mobility scooter has caused damage to it and unnecessary pain n duress to myself. It seems as if it’s fine if you walk fine if you cycle and generally fine in a car on the road but we are yes a minority but surely our needs should be considered too? The footpaths are not in a good condition for our use, so therefore I would appreciate a conversation with someone from highways to discuss this further.
Thank you for reporting a fault. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.

It seems that this issue has been put as anonymous but I would like to be contacted re what is intended. I have been advised to speak to the Higheays dept but since Sept I have heard nothing! The issue is not going away at all and with the current wet weather large puddles are appearing in several places which also serve to damage mobility scooters. It seems we are being discriminated against as our access is being limited. Please can some person from highways contact me ASAP to discuss this further
