Risk of serious injury

Reported in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 16:42, Friday 25 September 2020

Sent to Northamptonshire County Council less than a minute later. ref: 2311906.

I am the school business manager for Roade Primary School. I have had few messages from parents concerned about the traffic outside school on Hartwell Road, Roade. The traffic is horrendous and is blocking the road due to parked cars which are causing buses/school coaches andvehicles to mount the pavement in order to pass. There have been several near misses and today I had to go out and manage/direct traffic in order to get it flowing again. Please could someone come out urgently to assess and see if anything can be done. I am happy to meet someone on site between 3pm/3.30pm. Having gone out today myself safety was a big concern and there is a risk to injury to a person or child. This has been noticible since the return of schools at the beginning of September.
